What we teach

Three subjects, each taught from foundations up to competition level. Take one, two, or all three.

Physics

High school physics from the ground up, with a direct path toward national competition.

Prepares for F = ma Exam and USAPhO

  • Kinematics, dynamics, and energy
  • Rotational mechanics and oscillations
  • Electricity and magnetism
  • F = ma problem sets and timed practice
  • USAPhO free-response writing

Chemistry

Core and advanced high school chemistry, including a full organic chemistry track.

Prepares for Chemistry Olympiad and USNCO

  • Stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and kinetics
  • Equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry
  • Organic chemistry: structure, mechanisms, synthesis
  • USNCO Local and National exam practice
  • Lab practical reasoning

Biology

High school biology plus the advanced topics that competitions actually test.

Prepares for Biology Olympiad and USABO

  • Cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics
  • Anatomy, physiology, and plant biology
  • Ecology and evolution
  • Advanced topics beyond the standard curriculum
  • USABO Open and Semifinal exam practice

How the program works

Every session runs 12 weeks and follows the same structure, whichever subjects a student takes.

Practice questions and homework

Students submit their answers and get individual feedback — not just on the final result, but on how they write up a solution. Competition graders read your reasoning, so we teach you to write it clearly.

Dedicated books, real foundations

Every subject follows established texts rather than scattered handouts, so students build a foundation that holds up under pressure instead of memorizing tricks.

Past-year problems

Students work through real past exams from each olympiad, timed and untimed, until the format stops being the hard part.

Community activities

Beyond theory, we run winter and summer activities in the community — student presentations, science debates, and outreach events.

Weekend evenings, Pacific Time

All sessions are held on weekend evenings, Pacific Time, so students in every time zone and activity schedule can attend. Session times are locked in before the term begins.
